Have Faith, Not Fear

Faith failure of a believer is equal to heart failure of the human body. If your faith is lost, you are prone to defeat in the spiritual battle. God cannot help you unless you believe in Him. He that comes to God must believe that He exists, and can save one from any situation.

Hebrews 11:6, says: "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

During the departure of the captive Israelites from Egypt, the Bible recorded that they left with 'a high hand' , that is, boldly or proudly and defiantly,Exodus 14:8. However, when they saw that the Egyptians has closed in on them they were thrown into gross panic. They immediately spoke against Moses, saying that they were better of, with their slavery in Egypt. They quickly forgot that they were crying to God earlier in Egypt for redemption, Exodus 14:10-12.

Exodus  14:12 says: "Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness."

Are you easily thrown out of your faith when challenges arise? What do you do when your expectations delay and agitation overwhelms you? Who told you panic brings solutions? Know this, no man can save himself or anyone else except God. Take your challenges to God per time for without Him we can do nothing, John 15:5. By strength shall no man prevail 1Samuel 2:9. We can only do all things when God is backing us.

Philippians  4:13 says: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

As believers, we are not to stagger in faith but are to look upon God, the author and finisher of our faith. He makes all things good at His time. He makes all things work together for good, to them that obey, serve and love Him faithfully. No matter the circumstance, we are to look upon God and not on the challenges. We are to give Him praise and magnify Him above our situation. When we make God bigger than our problems, automatically our problems become incredibly small and soon vanish. God is bigger than all our problems already existing or yet to manifest.

Psalms 34:5, says: "They looked unto Him and were lightened, and their faces were not ashamed."
You shall not see shame in Jesus name. Jesus is Lord!

The Fire-brand Christian

People think that heaven is cold, and only hell is fiery, this is not true. Heaven has fire, and hell has a fire of judgment. The Lord is a consuming fire Deuteronomy 4:24. He is covered with fire. Elijah called down fire from Heaven, and the fire consumed the sacrifice and the materials used to prepare the sacrifice.

1 Kings  18:38, says: "Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench."

As God's children and representatives on Earth, we need fire! We must be like God. He made us to be flaming fire (Psalms104:4) and nothing less than that.We must be in constant prayer and renewal of the Holy ghost. When one is  weak in prayers, Bible study, and other spiritual practices, the devil can pluck such person out of his true place in God.

Zechariah 3:2 says: "And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?"

From the above verse, we can see clearly that the expectation of God for us His children is to be fiery like Him. Every parent(s) expect(s) his (their) children to be like him (them) and, this is same with God, our father. He wants us to be like Him in all our ways and His resemblance. God communicates with fire. He answers with fire. It is important to note that God is not just an ordinary fire but a "consuming fire", Deuteronomy 4:24. Nobody jokes with a consuming fire!

Numbers  11:1 says: "And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and His anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp."

Numbers  16:35  says: "And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense."

When we Christians acknowledge that we are in a battle with a hard working, organised wicked forces, that don't go on holidays nor relent on their wickedness, we would take the presupposed position in the battle to take our predestined position in life. The fight against the agents of darkness, isn't a battle fought with truce, it's a fight till the end! This is why we must take up our true nature in God and fight relentlessly. We are to fast, pray, study, and do all the word of God instructs us to do and with full obedience. We can only avenge all disobedience when our obedience is complete, 2Corinthians 10:6. Jesus is Lord!

The Mystery of The Night Hour

The night hour is not entirely for sleep, it's a time for a watch. It is the hour of victory, the hour when spiritual battles are won. It is the part of the day that determines the entire day and even the next day. It is the most important part of any day. Sadly, most people take the night for granted. Do you want to be outstanding in life? You must make the most of your night!

Psalms  19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

In the academic setting, the night is the hour when outstanding greatness is achieved. Students may be in the same class, attend same classes at class hours and receive lectures by same lecturers, but it is only those who go further maximising their knowledge, studying at night that perform outstandingly than the rest. In the political world, important meetings are held at night. The politicians win the elections at night. The military and even the security agencies will also affirm that night raids have greater impact in the course of their jobs.

Now, most importantly, in the spirit realm, the night is a warfare time and an hour of exploits. Deep meditations and long prayers are best done at night. From the parable of the seed-sower, the enemy couldn't come until men slept, Matthew 13:24-30. Know this, the devil doesn't easily attack a believer. He doesn't have any power over any believer. He first tries to wear him out through several challenges and ups and downs. He puts a lot of pressure on the believer with the aim of luring him out of God's covering and his faith in God. When he succeeds,  he strikes really quickly and hard. The devil is not strong as you feared, you are way stronger by Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:13, Colossians 2:10.

Matthew  13:25 says: "But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way."

Adam and Eve, couldn't surrender the dominion of the world until they sinned. Know this, the night hour, isn't limited to the dark part of the day, it is likened to the moment of challenges. When you let your spiritual guard down, the enemy will sow tares or weeds. You must understand that from the creation of the heaven and earth, God designed man to fight. He said 'subdue and dominate', Genesis 1:28.

2 Timothy  2:4 says: "No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier."

God has chosen us to be soldiers, not sleepers! A soldier is always on guard. If you sleep all night, you will suffer all day. You must make most of your night! Destiny exchanges, demonic manipulations, spiritual invocations, enchantments, occultic initiations and wickedness etc are all done at nights. If you have already started making most use of your nights, know that you aren't wasting your time, if you aren't, start  today. You will share your testimony in Jesus name. Jesus is Lord!

Every Pit is a Tip.

Life is all about perception and understanding. What you do not like,  you do not watch. If you are fed up with a situation, you'd stand up and up your efforts, else you will remain grounded. If you don't know who you are, the devil will tell you who you are not. The word "Pit" , when spelt from back to front means "Tip" - it is all about your perception. When one finds himself or herself, in a so-called "pit" situation, such person can still look above the situation and see it from the positive aspect - that is, as a "tip" to succeed. There are situations that some people termed unfavourable, yet others succeed there. Life is all about results. We are not defined by our challenges, we are defined by our breakthroughs.

1 Thessalonians  3:3  says: "That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto."

From the above verse, we can resolve that it is expected of one to go through challenges. After all lectures in a class, there will be an assessment or a test. The challenges of life make a believer better and stronger in his or her walk with God, and are never to mar his or her life. Until the vine goes through the winepress there won't be any wine. In fact, any challenge that comes to a believer is for his or her advancement to the next level of greatness and exploits.

Psalms  34:19 says: "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all."

Before each new challenge, God knows, and has devised a solution for it and leaves you to come to him so that He will show it to you, Jeremiah 29:13. This is where most people miss it! It is not the righteous that delivers himself or herself, God does, Psalms 34:19. Unfortunately, some people go about panicking and relenting on themselves for the solution.

1 Corinthians  10:13 says: "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Joseph's dreams sent him to the pit but he didn't stop dreaming. He, from the dry pit was placed in the 'adulterous pit' of Potiphar's house, yet he didn't compromise on his love for and trust in God. He was transferred from Potiphar' s house to an underground pit (dungeon) and yet he didn't stop dreaming or being positive. In the end, all the pit experiences paid off. Daniel, was thrown into the pit that had lions in it, forewarned, yet he was firm in his love and fear of God. The same goes also to the Hebrew boys, who were thrown into the pit of flaming fire and yet, they didn't even smell of fire neither were they consumed. No situation is allowed to consume you unless you allow it.

God has a foreknowledge of all the happenings of life. God's interest in the happenings of our lives is that we acknowledge Him as the only way to have all our needs met as they arise, John 15:5 & John 14:6. God knows our frame.

Psalms  103:14 says: "For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust."

Life is always about perception. Those who see light in every life situation don't stumble on obstacles, they make out of them, a ladder to their goal. Those who see darkness, in turn remain grounded. Though one may fall at times trying to achieve,  staying down is unacceptable! A just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again, Proverbs 24:16. The Lord bless you.

Don't Think You are Alone

You can be lonely at times yet not alone, the spirit of God lives within you. Upon receiving Jesus into ones life, the Spirit of God comes and dwells in him. He keeps the believer company even as the believer doesn't see Him - He is invisible. He leads the believer in the way to follow, Isaiah 30: 21. He speaks to the believer through Scriptures, audible voice, thoughts, dreams, trance, intuition, etc subject to the believer's spiritual sensitivity. Know this, people can desert you socially or physically making you lonely and yet you are not alone!

John  16:32, says: "Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me."

So long as you are a true child of God who worship Him in spirit and in truth, He is always with you everywhere you go, in fact, He goes ahead of you and makes the crooked places straight for you, Isaiah 45:2.

Joshua  1:9, says: "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

Did God just say He is with YOU wherever you go! He is with you even in your sleep, reason why you define your dream the way you want and not your dream defining you. This is why knowledge of God is the power to do exploits, Daniel 11:32. In the Christian world or communion of the Saints, understanding is a must! Without knowledge and understanding people perish in the hands of the enemy, Hosea 4:6. Know this, in the face of your fiercest opposition or challenge, God is nearest to you the most than you can imagine - right there by your side. He loves you so dearly and your are the apple of His eyes taking you most seriously, Deuteronomy 32:10.

Isaiah  8:9-10, says: "Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us."
You are not alone, His name is Emmanuel (God is with us). He honours His name and stays true to His name in all situations of life.

Never Below Grace

No matter how terrible you think you have fallen in life, you cannot fall below the grace of God. Are you a murderer, ritualist, prostitute, fraudster, rapist, armed robber, philanderer, shrewd businessman, corrupt politician, sex maniac, lesbian, homosexual, witch, wizard, adulterer (-ress), fornicator, backbiter, hater, liar, and what have you? God still loves and can help you.

2 Corinthians 12:9  says : "And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

You must understand that Jesus solely came to the earth for grace towards men. He came to put sinners in right standing with God. He did not come to judge the world.

John  3:17 says: "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

No matter where you have gone wrong, you only have to return to God. The devil will always accuse and condemn you in your thoughts, that God cannot forgive you but such is not true. How can you believe him when you know he's been a liar from the beginning? You just have to accept Jesus into your life and watch your life have a sudden turnaround. God loves you so deeply and patiently awaits your return to Him, even as time runs out for you if you remain in sin.

Romans  5:8, says: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Some people, upon mere hearing that God grants grace, use the half knowledge as a yardstick to live in sin, without a proper understanding of grace. Grace can be explained as unmerited favour or undeserved mercy. Grace can be explained as living for God with God. Grace is also fondly explained as God being involved in the race of a man's life. It never means opportunity to live in sin. Dwelling in sin, and also expecting grace to continue after you have known the truth is dangerous.

Romans  6:1-2, says : "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?"

There are many benefits to gain in Jesus. This is what the devil is fighting to prevent people from. He did it and out of craftiness, succeeded against Adam and Eve. I pray for you, according to the word of God in Job 5:12, the Lord shall disappoint the devices of the crafty, so that his hands shall not perform his enterprise against you in Jesus name!

Road To Victory

Your Identity in God is the first victory over the challenges of your life. Knowing that you are an heir to the Kingdom of God is of essence. Knowing that as God's child, you can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you Philip. 4:13. That's how the visible victory comes. I call this having absolute faith in God!

Malachi  3:6 says: "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."

The devil doesn't fear the size of your bible, how regularly you visit the church, the length of your fasting, how religiously dressed you are, and other numerous religious practices. He (satan ) fears the presence of God which you command. He fears how much of the Word of God you know and obey. The revelation from the word makes you spiritually effective.  He that obeys the Word of God is obeyed by all things in heaven and on earth.

2Corinthians 10:5-6, says "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."

When we obey the Word of God and live by it, we can bring all things to our favour. There is fullness of God's power in His word. The word of God is capable of whatever God is capable of doing. However, the word of God answers to those who know and please God. For one to command the supernatural, such most know God.

Daniel 11:32, says:"...but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."

The power of God is available, but not to all men. The power is for those that know and love God. God is love,1John 4:8. God is a consuming fire, Deuteronomy 4:24. So those who have true love (which is God) possess consuming fire! No wonder the Bible says in Psalms 104:4, that God made His children flaming fire. A true believer is a fire brand man, and not ordinary. The truth is that God is ever set to fulfil those who love Him.

1Corinthians 2:9, says : "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

These are whom the devil fear. He fears those who love God in spirit and in truth. The devil couldn't attack or lift a finger at Job until God permitted him. Day and night, the devil is busy asking for permission to hurt you. He is busy accusing you before God. I pray for you, may the devil never receive any permission against you in Jesus name.

Psalm 105:13-15, says : "When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm."

From the above, we saw God placed a seal of exemption that says : "Touch not mine anointed and do my lovers no harm." If you love God, you are on your way to victory in life. The Angels of God camps round those who love God, day and night, Psalms 34:7. Victory in life is already established in Heaven(Matthew 6:10) after Jesus defeated satan making an open show of him, Colossians 2:15. The will of God for us is to subdue and dominate the earth after the order of Christ's victory. Rise up today on the foundation of Jesus' victory and begin to subdue, dominate, occupy till Jesus comes. You are blessed!

Priorities, Important as Life

We are made or marred by our decisions in life. Man is a product of his decision right from the garden of Eden. Life is all about getting priorities right. Failure to define purpose makes abuse inevitable.

Everything in life has order of precedence. At creation of the heaven and earth, the Bible recorded that the earth was void and without form. Darkness covered the face of the deep and  the Spirit of God moved upon the waters. Then, "God said let there be light, and there was light", Genesis 1:1-3. Light came first for a reason. God was teaching us the need for order - need for a precondition. God is a God of order and not an author of confusion.

1 Corinthians 14:33, says: "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."

Apart from Adam and Eve, every man has to undergo certain phases before adulthood. A newly born baby can't eat anything adults do, cannot speak, run etc. How can one get his priority right? Allow God to counsel you through His Word.

Matthew 6:33, says: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

From the above verse, we can resolve that the first thing to consider in life isn't the cars to drive, the houses to live in, the clothes to wear, the foods to eat and drinks to quench thirst, the fat salary-earning  jobs, the fame and positions or power and what have you. These are not the first in order of precedence on God's purpose for man, His kingdom and holy life is.

Mark 8:36-37, "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?"

I hear people say "I was born poor, I must die rich". That's good and speaks of hard work. It is rather better of such saying to declare that "I was born a sinner, but must live and die SAVED". Carry this mentality, making such proclamation. Know this, wealth on this earth ends here on earth and won't buy a place in heaven, it is only righteousness through grace that does. Heaven is the ultimate goal, everything else is secondary and vanity!

Jesus had plans for His twelve disciples, despite Knowing that Judas will betray Him. He never made Judas to feel unwanted, He knew Judas was part of journey to success.

Matthew 19:28 , says "And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."

Jesus knew Judas was destined to betray Him, but still left the chance for him to repent after betrayal and this was why Jesus still enlisted him among 'the twelve to judge the twelve tribes of Israel' (as we read in the above verse) subject to Judas' decision subsequent to the betrayal.

In Matthew 10:1-4, Jesus gave power to His twelve disciples for signs and wonders - great anointing that money cannot buy. Judas, failed to get his priority right. The love of money swayed him, and he was destroyed. One can equally see this in the life of Gehazi. He because of the lust of the eyes went for the immediate ( Naaman's gifts) , and missed the ultimate which could have been a double of Elisha's anointing, 2 kings 5:20-27. I pray for you: " You Shall not miss the ultimate in the name of Jesus". Remain Blessed!

When God is The Focus

When you focus on the immediate, you will miss the ultimate. Where you are headed for in life by God's direction, is greater than what your thought can fathom,  1Cor. 2:9. Life is in phases, men are in sizes. The Scriptures says that we should not despise the days of our humble beginnings. Everything that is big today started small sometime ago. An orange, for an example, while yet to mature is 'bitter'. When it matures, it is sour. When it has riped, it is sweet. The same goes to life of a man. In the journey to success in destiny, falling is allowed but staying down is unacceptable!

Proverbs 24:16, says: "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief."

The journey to success is like harvesting a rose with thorns, it has challenges. The ability to see beyond the immediate circumstances and occurrences brings one closer to the desired success. Let's look at what the Scriptures say;

Job 8:7, says : "Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase."

Zechariah 4:10, says : "For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth."

The days of your beginning is as important as the day of your breakthrough. Many people hate starting small. They want it all made immediately - making most take to crimes and evils. This is against the law of life or nature. Nobody else, was born adult apart from Adam and Eve. Being made adults without any childhood, the duo fell due to inability to grow in communication and character. This was one of the reasons why even our Lord Jesus came and was born as a human baby. He learnt carpentery, studied about Himself in the book of Isaiah and needed John The Baptist to baptise Him. He also fasted and prayed before He was deemed fit and got endorsed by the Holy Spirit with power to manifest and start His ministry. The same is applicable to human success. If you don't learn from little you will be caught up in future and of course, won't be faithful in big breakthroughs.

Luke  16:10 says : "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much."

Don't focus on the immediate, focus on what the future holds in store for you. Today is what begets tomorrow and not where your tomorrow ends. When God is involved in your journey you can't be stranded or wasted.

Hebrews  12:2 says: "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Jesus knew the glory that awaits Him when He overcomes, and endured the cross bearing our sins. This is the key to His success - He knew His time of affliction and glory, John 17:1. A man becomes successful when he in turn, knows his own time of affliction and manifestation, Romans 8:19. Every man must identify God's vision for his life and pursue it. This is only revealed by the Spirit of God and not by man's intellectual or sensual wisdom.

Know this, your yesterday and today won't be better than your tomorrow when God still leads you. You are blessed!

The End-time Youths

Being young is a timely gift. However, this gift of being young doesn't endure forever. No one is forever young, notwithstanding the efforts that affluence can assert just to keep up with being young and beautiful. No wonder the popular saying "sweet sixteen", expressing the admiration for being young. Are you a young man or woman, or you are still a teenager, be proud of your youth and (positively) make most of it. Are you already past the ever-clamoured admirable youthful age and looks, cherish the memories of how you spent yours. Oh, yes, you should with thanks to God.
Now, "why the focus on Youths in this piece?" One may be pondering. Youth, as a stage in the lives of humans is very important as a foundation is to a building. The foundation, determines the structural quality of a building - the length or how many storey buildings it should be, etc. Having good solid foundations, tall buildings and skyscrapers are erected. The same are applicable to human beings. If anyone's youth is poorly developed it goes a long way negatively influencing such person's future and destiny. As a youth, you need an early relationship with God.
Proverbs 8:17, Says : "I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me."
The great man you see today, has done a good background job on himself years earlier. Great destinies aren't attained in a day. They are not by shortcuts. They are not attained by swindling, fraud, robbery, money rituals, prostitution, bribery, and all manner of wickedness. Cheer hard work paves the way to them with God's blessing present.
Proverbs 10:22, says: "The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it."

They are all journeys that began some day with a simple step forward. No wonder it was said that "a journey of thousands miles begins with a step". In my view, a journey of thousands miles begins with not just a step, but a step forward, towards the right direction or destination. Know this, Youthful days are days of labour not pleasures.

Lamentations 3:27, says: "It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth."

As a youth, one is filled with good strength and potentials. When these are wrongly channelled, lead to bad circumstances and occurrences which have some lifelong damaging effects. There are some 'Wh-' questions that every youth should ask and answer himself or herself: "As a youth, who are you? what inspires you? Who is your role model? Whom do you want to become in a particular duration of time, say ten years time? What can you do? What is your goal in life?" And so on.  If you answer these questions sincerely and act, you can't be wasted. It is quite sad, that in this end time, a good population of youths are inspired by what they should actually run away from, even those born into Christian homes. They are inspired by immorality!
Proverbs 14:12, says: "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

Ecclesiastes 11:9 -10, Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

Very many lack good moral values. Good moral values have gone abroad and only few are squeaky-clean; these are the spirit-filled believers. To be youth-less is to be useless, to be youthful, is to be useful. When you don't make most of your youth, you are youth-less. When you do make most of your youth, you are youthful. When you are not a productive youth you are youth-less. This is because youths are renowned for exploits! We can see this in the lives of David, who killed Goliath at 17yrs old; Samson, who did a lot of exploits against the Philistines; Joseph at 30yrs old, became second in power over Egypt after Pharaoh; Jesus at 30yrs old started His ministry and completed it at 33yrs old. Know this, God designed youth stage of mankind for exploits - the devil knows this as well.

John 9:4 says : "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."

The early stage of mankind is his 'day time', his youth. The 'night' is his old age, when strength has left him and he is weak in sight, bones and, memory. A youth must devote his time, energy, and entire life to God - your heart should pant after God. The work of God is more expedient at youth than at old age.

Ecclesiastes 12:1 says: "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them."

That, notwithstanding, in the youth stage of man lies several weaknesses, loopholes and likelihood to commit errors. God wants you NOW not later, we can see this from the above scriptures. The Scriptures says that the day of salvation is NOW, 2Corinthians 6:2. While I was in the university, I struggled with immorality. I tried on my own with my human strength but failed umpteen times, for "by strength shall no man prevail ", 1Samuel 2:9. There were lots of distractions and as a student, I had all that carnal students could call fun - ranging from good grades (which was basic for all students), fame, parties and orgies, etc but never had a relationship with Him, God Almighty. I refused to mix God with the aforementioned, because a part of me feared Him as I then affirmed. There were those that lived such lifestyle as i did and still attended fellowships but I refused to mock the communion of the saints, the born again Christians - I thought it a terrible thing.

Galatians 6:7, says: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

2 Timothy2:19, says: "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity."

The devil knows how much important and useful youths can be, that's why He has been so determined on getting hold on them - the much of them he could. He makes them blind in the heart, 2Corinthians 4:4, and put immorality in their hearts in a way that they see nothing wrong with it. Casual or pre-marital sex, orgies and parties, alcoholism, wrong association, pornography they termed 'School life' in Schools - both in the secondary and the universities. The working youths who are through with school are no exception, they say they need to enjoy life before marriage - what a waste. I was there before, until the Holy Spirit convicted me upon my graduation from school, and took me off the miry clay and set my feet upon the solid rock, Jesus Christ. I once was blind, but I see clearly now.

Philipians 3:7-8 &10, says : "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death."

Dear friends, God has designed you to be a soldier this end time, 2 Timothy 2:4. Allow God restore you to His original plans for your life today. No matter how far away you think you have gone from Him, He patiently awaits your return. He still knocks at the door of your heart, Revelations 3:20. Won't you rather open? He changed me and made me what I am today - a soldier. He says "follow me and I will make you..." Matthew 4:19. He loves you no matter what and how you've gone wrong, yes He truly loves you! To serve God is not 'boring' as the devil promised, he has been a liar and never stops to be. In fact, knowing God is the sweetest and best thing that can happen to you. Allow this truth to make you free! Confess your sins to God today and ask for forgiveness and be welcomed into the communion of Saints today. God bless you.

When Headed for Your Destiny

As you journey towards your destiny, the question of "whom to carry along?" Is of utmost importance. Let's use father Abraham, the father of faith; from whom the whole world are blessed as our case study. God called Abram alone but he decided to take his nephew, Lot, alongside him to wherever it was God took him by promise.

Genesis 12:1 says: "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee."

Take a close look at the instructions of God in the above verse again. You will see how God clearly declared that Abram should move away from his "kindred" and not just his father's house and his home country. This must be for a reason, God is wise. Most Bible readers might think that Abram entirely obeyed these instructions of God but we from the above Scriptures, saw that he didn't and this came with its challenges later. We are to obey God entirely each time He instructs us. Abram, was only growing with his walk with God during that time. Again, when Abram went down to Egypt, Sarai took Hagar for a maid. What a wrong company! Sentiments, could prove delirious and make one forget one's vision and destination in life. Probably, Lot was pitied by Abram, and hence Abram took him along. Sarai, after ten years in Egypt, out of her own emotions took Hagar along. Who do you take along with you in the race to your destiny! Know this, when God sends "you" on a mission He has already made perfect provisions for "you", every other arrangements influenced by you such as bringing in whom he hasn't purposed in the mission can prove costly to you.

Isaiah 51:2 says: "Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him."

In the race of your destiny, follow God's instructions strictly. In this race called "Destiny" , everybody is a suspect even your loved ones - Joseph is a typical example, amidst others in the Bible. The Bible made us to understand in Matthew 10:36 and Micah 7:6, that the enemies of a man are the members of his family.

Micah 7:6 says: "For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house."

Do not carry "ALL" along. Do not let people know about your plans per time unless the ones necessary and who (through God's grace and revelations to you) can help you in actualisation of the vision. Some people are where they are today in life of regrets, simply because they shared their vision with the vision-killers whom they thought were their friends or family. Please note this, nobody prefers you to himself or herself. This is why jealousy is so common among mankind. It takes a spirit-filled believer to overcome the spirit of jealousy. While making a long trip, it is always better to be light with less loads to be more comfortable. The same is applicable to the journey to destiny. The less people that know your thoughts and plans, the better and  conceivable it gets.

THE DANGERS OF WRONG COMPANY

God always want us to stay away from wrong companies. As wise as King Solomon was, his love for God disappeared when his strange wives had their chance at his old age, notwithstanding his wisdom and years of his walk with God, 1 kings 11:1-40.

Psalms 1:1 says: "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful."

2Corinthians 6:14 &17 says: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you".

It might interest you to know that being with the wrong company can make God silent in your life. There are some men of God that lost God's voice and backing because of their companies. The same was seen in the life of Abraham, when his servants and those of his nephew, Lot, were in dispute.

Genesis 13:14-15 says: "And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever."

There are people who are where they are today because of their social environment - backing and sponsoring them and are their hope and trust. Permit me to tell you that there are heights you cannot attain in life until certain people around you or lifestyles are ridded. So long as Lot was with Abram, Abram couldn't get these blessings. Who or what are your companies? Companies here aren't just limited to human beings around you - habits, desires, ambition, emotions, etc can all prove to be the things which militate against your breakthroughs and miracles. You have to shed them off. They are the little foxes that spoil the vine, Song of Solomon 2:15. It is my prayer for you that whomever or whatever that is a hindrance to your destiny or breakthroughs is taken away from your life in Jesus name.

Do Not be Deceived, God Cannot be Mocked

It is exciting to share this thought with you, as you read through be blessed in Jesus name.

We are in the era of grace. Unfortunately, most people born into Christian homes fail to understand the importance of having personal relationships with God. They live as they pleased and still pray to God for miracles, breakthroughs, and exploits - I call this "Spiritual Daydream". Being born into a Christian home is not a yardstick, doesn't guarantee your salvation, your personal relationship with God does.

Daniel 11:32 says"...but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits".

From the above, we can see that exploits are for the people who know God. You can only do exploits by being consciously righteous. You must be a seeker of the kingdom of God, and His righteousness - You must be Born Again! People always want God to do one thing or the other for them, but on their part don't want to do anything for God. God is not a user of man - He is not selfish but a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, Hebrews 11:6. People want to use God and dump Him when they are through in getting the breakthrough they tarry for - the foolish things of God is wiser than the wisdom of men. Sometimes, God's mercies allow them to see a little breakthrough, just for God to prove them and see their heart - most of them flee from the awesome presence of God and turn to worldliness subsequent to the breakthrough. That's when you see a used-to-be committed Christian brother or sister not having time for God. He or she was without a job before and prayed for a job and God honoured the prayer, and gave the job to him or her. Subsequently, the job turns into a reason why she doesn't even pray to God but continues to die spiritually each day! Nothing should hinder our relationship with God, absolutely nothing. The way you consider God, is the way He considers you in return - make Him special and a serious business, He treats you the same way; treat Him otherwise, you won't command much of His presence.

James 4:8 says: "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."

Also, Psalm 34:15 says: "The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry."

People mistake God's mercies as God's approval. He is way too merciful on mankind. He is very patient with us and gives us ample time to repent and get it right with Him. He allows some good things to happen to bad people for them to change. He loved us while we are yet sinners.

Romans 5:8 says: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Most times,  such persons feel that God approves their lifestyle and still refuse to change - they continue in sin hoping that His grace should abound. Living in sin, they still place demands on God as though they have a relationship with Him. They wish to see big breakthroughs and miracles. They are disobedient to the Word of God yet, they want to command the supernatural and do exploits.

2 Corinthians 10:6 says: "And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."

You cannot manifest the Jesus you (through your lifestyle) don't believe in. You cannot be living the way you want and still say "God take control". You can't be on the 'driver's seat' of your life (sinning at will) and say "God drive me". You can't be stealing or defrauding people, fornicating, taking bribes, backbiting for benefits and still say " Oluwa is involved" or "Oluwa bless my hustle". Oluwa means God (In Yoruba language, Nigeria). The bible says "Let he that names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity" 2Tim2:19. Those that are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God - those who walk not after the lust of the flesh. Everyone must bear in mind that whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. God doesn't make mistakes. Whatever a man does is being noted in Heaven,  good or bad alike. It is only genuine repentance that makes God forgive, wipe, and forget our sins. If you are not yet born again, this is an ideal encouragement for you to do so today. Get it right now with God. Remember, nobody can enter the kingdom of God, except he or she be born again, John3:3.  The Lord bless you.

"I AM", not "I WAS"

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, Hebrews 13:8. He is "I AM", not "I was". He never changes with circumstances. He makes situations to change but never does His person change. Yes, He is God alone!

Malachi 3:6, says: "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed."

It is awesome to bring this word to you for the Word is all you need to have all your needs met. When you diligently hearken to the Word of God and catch the light of its revelations your story will change. I see you catch the light of God's Word and be blessed in Jesus name.
Know this, no matter what situations or circumstances you have been in, or are passing through, all you need to do is to locate what the Bible is saying concerning them for your sake. For the Word has been sent to set you free!

Psalm107:20 says; "He sent His Word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions".

The Word of God is capable of doing whatever God is capable of doing. The word of God has no restrictions. In fact, the Word of God is quick and powerful! Hebrews 4:12. There is nothing impossible for the Word of God. The arm of flesh fails, but the Word cannot fail.

Mark 10:27 says; And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

The Bible made us to understand that the Word is God. The Word is one of the Trinity. The Word cannot be separated from God.

John 1:1, says " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God "

Jesus is the Word of God, and by Him all things were made and without Him nothing was made that was made, John 1:3. This is why the Word prevails in all situations or circumstances as He engendered all things to exist.  Jesus did a lot of exploits and miracles while in the nature of man on earth and is still doing so today in the lives of those that believe in Him. He is the I AM. Whatever God did in the past He can replicate today. He was not more powerful yesterday (ancient times) and less powerful today, or to be more powerful tomorrow, He is Powerful and has been powerful and has never ceased to be powerful. He is just the same. Are you passing through marital challenges? Go to Him in prayers for He instituted it. Marital issues are best counselled and handled by God; not by any man or woman be it your parents or friends!

Exodus 3:13-15 says: "Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations."

From the above verse, we can see how God clearly declared the duration of the validity of His name and power toward us.

"...this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations."

This is for us to know that His great deeds and power endures forever and not for a season. In 1 kings 17:17-23, Elijah raised the widow's son from death. Jesus raised Lazarus from death, John11:32-44. Peter after Jesus died raised Tabitha from death, Acts 9:32-42. Jesus clearly gave us power to raise the dead, that is, you and I today are expected by Him to raise the dead, and replicate other miracles Jesus manifested while on earth and through the prophets of old. Jesus gave us power to replicate those miracles even today.

Matthew 10:8 says: "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."

Many doubt the miracles wrought by the hands of even notable men of God, this is wrong. They simply are implying (by their doubts,) that God isn't powerful in this age which is a blatant lie.

Isaiah 43:13 says:"From the ancient times, I am He..."

I recall clearly, on 26th of September 2015, I got knocked down dead by a fast speeding vehicle taking the wrong turn. A lady, whom I do not know came, prayed and anointed me right there before the onlookers (as affirmed to me, for I was unaware of the happenings) and life suddenly returned back to my body. I was subsequently rushed to the hospital for a medical check where I fully regained consciousness. God is truly "I AM, not I WAS".

From the above, we could see from old testament to new testament and even unto this present day, how God has been faithful with diverse miracles even in raising the dead. Whomever you are, wherever you are, whatever you have done, as you read this piece, know that God is the most powerful and the One with all solutions of life; make your way to God wholeheartedly, and see how much good He will do for you. I am a living testimony. God bless you. Jesus is Lord!

WHAT YOU DO NOT KNOW

Umpteen times, I heard people declare "what I do not know cannot kill me, " this is sheer ignorance. What you do not know can actually kill you, take you by surprise, harm, and or destroy you. This is why knowledge is power. If a man who was killed by a strayed bullet foreknew he would experience such would he still visit such place? If an innocent young lady foreknew the ambush by some hooligans who raped her, would she have taken that way? The world is the way it is today because of ignorance of many. Seek to know God, and he will teach you what you do not know. Jer.33 : 3. Nobody will go to hell by mistake, nobody will go to heaven by mistake too - It is both by conscious decisions and deeds. Know that so long as you are alive you are in a battle.

Ephesians 6:12 says; " For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

, 2cor. 10:3-4 says; For though we walk in the flesh, we war not after the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.

You can decide to fight or die cheaply for doing nothing. No witchcraft or power can stop you if you can pray, Numbers 23:23, Luke 10:19. Your mouth is a sharpened sword Isaiah 49:2. Many are lazy to pray. That's why things are the way they are with them. They say " what will be will be ", that's sheer ignorance for if there were no battles God won't empower us to fight. God has given us all we need for a successful life and power to defeat all adversaries of our glorious destiny

2 Peter 1:3 says, According as His divine power hath given us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

Some people say destinies cannot be destroyed, yet the devil keep ripping off and destroying many destinies. John10:10 made us to understand that the devil can steal and destroy destinies so do not be deceived by ' que sera sera ' mantra.

1Corinthians 16:9 says; For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

So, rise and do the needful relentlessly. Accept Jesus today, if you are yet to, for He loves you and is always there for you.

God bless you.
