Do Not be Deceived, God Cannot be Mocked

It is exciting to share this thought with you, as you read through be blessed in Jesus name.

We are in the era of grace. Unfortunately, most people born into Christian homes fail to understand the importance of having personal relationships with God. They live as they pleased and still pray to God for miracles, breakthroughs, and exploits - I call this "Spiritual Daydream". Being born into a Christian home is not a yardstick, doesn't guarantee your salvation, your personal relationship with God does.

Daniel 11:32 says"...but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits".

From the above, we can see that exploits are for the people who know God. You can only do exploits by being consciously righteous. You must be a seeker of the kingdom of God, and His righteousness - You must be Born Again! People always want God to do one thing or the other for them, but on their part don't want to do anything for God. God is not a user of man - He is not selfish but a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, Hebrews 11:6. People want to use God and dump Him when they are through in getting the breakthrough they tarry for - the foolish things of God is wiser than the wisdom of men. Sometimes, God's mercies allow them to see a little breakthrough, just for God to prove them and see their heart - most of them flee from the awesome presence of God and turn to worldliness subsequent to the breakthrough. That's when you see a used-to-be committed Christian brother or sister not having time for God. He or she was without a job before and prayed for a job and God honoured the prayer, and gave the job to him or her. Subsequently, the job turns into a reason why she doesn't even pray to God but continues to die spiritually each day! Nothing should hinder our relationship with God, absolutely nothing. The way you consider God, is the way He considers you in return - make Him special and a serious business, He treats you the same way; treat Him otherwise, you won't command much of His presence.

James 4:8 says: "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."

Also, Psalm 34:15 says: "The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry."

People mistake God's mercies as God's approval. He is way too merciful on mankind. He is very patient with us and gives us ample time to repent and get it right with Him. He allows some good things to happen to bad people for them to change. He loved us while we are yet sinners.

Romans 5:8 says: "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Most times,  such persons feel that God approves their lifestyle and still refuse to change - they continue in sin hoping that His grace should abound. Living in sin, they still place demands on God as though they have a relationship with Him. They wish to see big breakthroughs and miracles. They are disobedient to the Word of God yet, they want to command the supernatural and do exploits.

2 Corinthians 10:6 says: "And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."

You cannot manifest the Jesus you (through your lifestyle) don't believe in. You cannot be living the way you want and still say "God take control". You can't be on the 'driver's seat' of your life (sinning at will) and say "God drive me". You can't be stealing or defrauding people, fornicating, taking bribes, backbiting for benefits and still say " Oluwa is involved" or "Oluwa bless my hustle". Oluwa means God (In Yoruba language, Nigeria). The bible says "Let he that names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity" 2Tim2:19. Those that are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God - those who walk not after the lust of the flesh. Everyone must bear in mind that whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. God doesn't make mistakes. Whatever a man does is being noted in Heaven,  good or bad alike. It is only genuine repentance that makes God forgive, wipe, and forget our sins. If you are not yet born again, this is an ideal encouragement for you to do so today. Get it right now with God. Remember, nobody can enter the kingdom of God, except he or she be born again, John3:3.  The Lord bless you.
