Call Unto Me
Hint:
Challenges are promotional spiritual exercise, meant to boost our faith in God. At the end of each challenge, lies a mouthwatering next-level breakthrough!
God did not promise us a challenge-free life, rather He promised us victory in all our challenges. Every challenge has an expiry date, we only need to remind God (Isaiah 43:26) and this is where prayers come in and what prayers do best. Every challenge has a specific requirement. To know what to do, we need to call unto God.
Jeremiah 33:3 says: "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
From the above scripture, we could clearly see what is required of us to do - to call on God. Those that acknowledge that the presence of God is with them everywhere they go and all the time (Joshua 1:9), are not meant to fear storms but call on Jesus, Luke 8:24. Whom to call in the face of challenges is more important than the challenges themselves. This is where many people miss out. While stuck in dilemma and violent situations of life, do you call on friends, family, the diabolical, or relent on your human abilities? You should call on God!
Psalms 121:1-2 says: "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth."
Challenges can force one to look down in shame. When you look down to your challenges and the surrounding consequences you shall see shame. Until you lift up your eyes unto God and focus on Him, sorrows continue. 'Hills' in the above verse represent men in high positions and authority who are powerful. Cursed be the man that trusteth in man... (Jeremiah 17:5). Look upon the cross at calvary, from where your salvation was bought.
Hebrews 12:2 says: "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
Challenges are promotional spiritual exercise, meant to boost our faith in God. At the end of each challenge, lies a mouthwatering next-level breakthrough! This is why we are to call on God for His sufficient grace to persevere till the end. Challenges that come our way are not bigger than us, for greater is He in us than the challenges of our life and he that orchestrated them. Despite their turbulence, with absolute faith in God, they will end with a great calm (2 Thess. 3:16), and will birth awesome testimonies.
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
God is ever near amidst our toughest challenges. He is faithful to see us through them all, but that is when we trust Him absolutely. Remember, in the wilderness the Israelites were dying from snake bites, but as many as they were that looked unto the raised serpent by Moses, lived those that concentrated on the biting serpent, died. God was teaching them to depend on Him. May God give you understanding and, through the Holy Spirit teach you to trust Him in every situation.

God Will Understand? #Part1
The life of an individual is lent unto him by God. The day it pleases God, He takes it from the bearer. God gave man life with instructions through His word (Bible) on how to use (live) it.
Joshua 1:8 says: "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
Many people fail to acknowledge this when they go about living the way they wish and never considering how God wants them to live saying: "God will understand".
This might sound controversial, but permit me to tell you that despite God giving us the will to make choices , we don't really have a choice to disobey or refrain from His instructions if we really want to live. We by default, are meant to just obey and obey that we might live and have a good life, even unto eternity.
Deuteronomy 30:15-20 says: "See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it. But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
From the above verses, we clearly can see that in spite of the seemed options, it will be unwise to move away from God for "HE IS THY LIFE AND THE LENGTH OF THY DAYS" verse20. Any wise person will see that there is only one choice for him or her, except someone who wants to be destroyed. In all that we do with the life God has given us, we must give account for all we did with it - good or evil. Jesus is Lord!

Debt Free
Every believer must understand that as the redeemed of the Lord he or she is debt free: Free from the power of sin, free from the power of death, sickness, poverty, stagnation, condemnation, oppression, harm, molestation, and what have you. Jesus paid it all on the cross of Calvary and declared it as was officially endorsed prior to His death, by saying "IT IS FINISHED". It is indeed finished. This is the finished work of Jesus by which the redeemed are debt-free!
John 8:36 says: "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
Upon receiving Jesus into one's life, such person is set free. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, John 14:6. Anyone that wants to be free follows Him, The Way. He says "...follow Me and I will make you..." ,Matthew 4:19. If you don't follow Him, The Way, you won't be made free. He is The Truth. It is when you know Him that your freedom from debt is actually established.
John 8:32 says: "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
It is Jesus that makes free. He is the Truth, and the truth makes one free from all debts. Anybody that wants to be free must know Jesus. Again, He is The Life. After one has been liberated from debt and its consequences, for such person to remain debt-free, such must live for God. You must live the life of Christ. Outside Jesus is death, for He is The Life. Jesus has taken from the world the power to harm the believers. He says "...be of good cheer for I have overcome", John 16:33.
Isaiah 53:5 says: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
He has paid off the debt of sickness and engendered healing upon all that believed in Him.
2 Corinthians 8:9 says "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."
He has paid off the debt of poverty that the believers might be rich through righteousness.
Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
He has paid off the debt of your past immoral life. You're not condemned of the wrongs of your past because you have become His righteousness by redemption. Jesus defeated the principalities and powers and made an open show of them Colossians 2:15. He took the power from death for the believers' sake. He has not appointed us unto death, Psalms 118:18.
Galatians 5:1 "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
Therefore, let's live a holy life and not entangling ourselves once again with our old self that lust for sin.
Jesus is Lord!

Have Faith, Not Fear
Faith failure of a believer is equal to heart failure of the human body. If your faith is lost, you are prone to defeat in the spiritual battle. God cannot help you unless you believe in Him. He that comes to God must believe that He exists, and can save one from any situation.
Hebrews 11:6, says: "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
During the departure of the captive Israelites from Egypt, the Bible recorded that they left with 'a high hand' , that is, boldly or proudly and defiantly,Exodus 14:8. However, when they saw that the Egyptians has closed in on them they were thrown into gross panic. They immediately spoke against Moses, saying that they were better of, with their slavery in Egypt. They quickly forgot that they were crying to God earlier in Egypt for redemption, Exodus 14:10-12.
Exodus 14:12 says: "Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness."
Are you easily thrown out of your faith when challenges arise? What do you do when your expectations delay and agitation overwhelms you? Who told you panic brings solutions? Know this, no man can save himself or anyone else except God. Take your challenges to God per time for without Him we can do nothing, John 15:5. By strength shall no man prevail 1Samuel 2:9. We can only do all things when God is backing us.
Philippians 4:13 says: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
As believers, we are not to stagger in faith but are to look upon God, the author and finisher of our faith. He makes all things good at His time. He makes all things work together for good, to them that obey, serve and love Him faithfully. No matter the circumstance, we are to look upon God and not on the challenges. We are to give Him praise and magnify Him above our situation. When we make God bigger than our problems, automatically our problems become incredibly small and soon vanish. God is bigger than all our problems already existing or yet to manifest.
Psalms 34:5, says: "They looked unto Him and were lightened, and their faces were not ashamed."
You shall not see shame in Jesus name. Jesus is Lord!

The Fire-brand Christian
People think that heaven is cold, and only hell is fiery, this is not true. Heaven has fire, and hell has a fire of judgment. The Lord is a consuming fire Deuteronomy 4:24. He is covered with fire. Elijah called down fire from Heaven, and the fire consumed the sacrifice and the materials used to prepare the sacrifice.
1 Kings 18:38, says: "Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench."
As God's children and representatives on Earth, we need fire! We must be like God. He made us to be flaming fire (Psalms104:4) and nothing less than that.We must be in constant prayer and renewal of the Holy ghost. When one is weak in prayers, Bible study, and other spiritual practices, the devil can pluck such person out of his true place in God.
Zechariah 3:2 says: "And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?"
From the above verse, we can see clearly that the expectation of God for us His children is to be fiery like Him. Every parent(s) expect(s) his (their) children to be like him (them) and, this is same with God, our father. He wants us to be like Him in all our ways and His resemblance. God communicates with fire. He answers with fire. It is important to note that God is not just an ordinary fire but a "consuming fire", Deuteronomy 4:24. Nobody jokes with a consuming fire!
Numbers 11:1 says: "And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and His anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp."
Numbers 16:35 says: "And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense."
When we Christians acknowledge that we are in a battle with a hard working, organised wicked forces, that don't go on holidays nor relent on their wickedness, we would take the presupposed position in the battle to take our predestined position in life. The fight against the agents of darkness, isn't a battle fought with truce, it's a fight till the end! This is why we must take up our true nature in God and fight relentlessly. We are to fast, pray, study, and do all the word of God instructs us to do and with full obedience. We can only avenge all disobedience when our obedience is complete, 2Corinthians 10:6. Jesus is Lord!

The Mystery of The Night Hour
The night hour is not entirely for sleep, it's a time for a watch. It is the hour of victory, the hour when spiritual battles are won. It is the part of the day that determines the entire day and even the next day. It is the most important part of any day. Sadly, most people take the night for granted. Do you want to be outstanding in life? You must make the most of your night!
Psalms 19:2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
In the academic setting, the night is the hour when outstanding greatness is achieved. Students may be in the same class, attend same classes at class hours and receive lectures by same lecturers, but it is only those who go further maximising their knowledge, studying at night that perform outstandingly than the rest. In the political world, important meetings are held at night. The politicians win the elections at night. The military and even the security agencies will also affirm that night raids have greater impact in the course of their jobs.
Now, most importantly, in the spirit realm, the night is a warfare time and an hour of exploits. Deep meditations and long prayers are best done at night. From the parable of the seed-sower, the enemy couldn't come until men slept, Matthew 13:24-30. Know this, the devil doesn't easily attack a believer. He doesn't have any power over any believer. He first tries to wear him out through several challenges and ups and downs. He puts a lot of pressure on the believer with the aim of luring him out of God's covering and his faith in God. When he succeeds, he strikes really quickly and hard. The devil is not strong as you feared, you are way stronger by Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:13, Colossians 2:10.
Matthew 13:25 says: "But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way."
Adam and Eve, couldn't surrender the dominion of the world until they sinned. Know this, the night hour, isn't limited to the dark part of the day, it is likened to the moment of challenges. When you let your spiritual guard down, the enemy will sow tares or weeds. You must understand that from the creation of the heaven and earth, God designed man to fight. He said 'subdue and dominate', Genesis 1:28.
2 Timothy 2:4 says: "No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier."
God has chosen us to be soldiers, not sleepers! A soldier is always on guard. If you sleep all night, you will suffer all day. You must make most of your night! Destiny exchanges, demonic manipulations, spiritual invocations, enchantments, occultic initiations and wickedness etc are all done at nights. If you have already started making most use of your nights, know that you aren't wasting your time, if you aren't, start today. You will share your testimony in Jesus name. Jesus is Lord!

Every Pit is a Tip.
Life is all about perception and understanding. What you do not like, you do not watch. If you are fed up with a situation, you'd stand up and up your efforts, else you will remain grounded. If you don't know who you are, the devil will tell you who you are not. The word "Pit" , when spelt from back to front means "Tip" - it is all about your perception. When one finds himself or herself, in a so-called "pit" situation, such person can still look above the situation and see it from the positive aspect - that is, as a "tip" to succeed. There are situations that some people termed unfavourable, yet others succeed there. Life is all about results. We are not defined by our challenges, we are defined by our breakthroughs.
1 Thessalonians 3:3 says: "That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto."
From the above verse, we can resolve that it is expected of one to go through challenges. After all lectures in a class, there will be an assessment or a test. The challenges of life make a believer better and stronger in his or her walk with God, and are never to mar his or her life. Until the vine goes through the winepress there won't be any wine. In fact, any challenge that comes to a believer is for his or her advancement to the next level of greatness and exploits.
Psalms 34:19 says: "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all."
Before each new challenge, God knows, and has devised a solution for it and leaves you to come to him so that He will show it to you, Jeremiah 29:13. This is where most people miss it! It is not the righteous that delivers himself or herself, God does, Psalms 34:19. Unfortunately, some people go about panicking and relenting on themselves for the solution.
1 Corinthians 10:13 says: "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
Joseph's dreams sent him to the pit but he didn't stop dreaming. He, from the dry pit was placed in the 'adulterous pit' of Potiphar's house, yet he didn't compromise on his love for and trust in God. He was transferred from Potiphar' s house to an underground pit (dungeon) and yet he didn't stop dreaming or being positive. In the end, all the pit experiences paid off. Daniel, was thrown into the pit that had lions in it, forewarned, yet he was firm in his love and fear of God. The same goes also to the Hebrew boys, who were thrown into the pit of flaming fire and yet, they didn't even smell of fire neither were they consumed. No situation is allowed to consume you unless you allow it.
God has a foreknowledge of all the happenings of life. God's interest in the happenings of our lives is that we acknowledge Him as the only way to have all our needs met as they arise, John 15:5 & John 14:6. God knows our frame.
Psalms 103:14 says: "For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust."
Life is always about perception. Those who see light in every life situation don't stumble on obstacles, they make out of them, a ladder to their goal. Those who see darkness, in turn remain grounded. Though one may fall at times trying to achieve, staying down is unacceptable! A just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again, Proverbs 24:16. The Lord bless you.
